I am currently doing my master's degree dissertation and it is based on inertial motion capture system using low-cost IMUs. I am very interested in your project and would love to see how it turned out and maybe throw a few tips on how to go about building one myself.
The system will be out soon. At the moment we are working on facilitating the mounting process.
For example we are planning to offer DIY kits including the PCB with all the SMD parts already soldered making the home soldering much simpler.
The software setup will be also simplified requiring the user to just install the OS on the SingleBoardComputer, and then an installation script will do most of the heavy lifting of installing the Chordata software and the dependencies.

Hi Constantinos

Would love to hear what your thesis is about!
