We applied for a Phase I SBIR from the National Science Foundation back in June to develop the NeuroBytes platform and get it into a classroom. Today we found out that we've been awarded the grant! That means as of 1/1/2016, we'll both be working full time on this project! BOOM!
So yeah, excitement. I'm going to keep using this project page to document all the details related to the platform, so stay tuned. v06 boards just shipped from OSHpark!

Totally stoked for you Zach and glad to see your doing something you not only love, but makes a great impact! I watched your Hackaday conference video and the 7th grade science fair photo brought back some great memories. I think that was the year you demonstrated the effect of liquid nitrogen on laser diodes. Best wishes to you for the new year and your new company!

Don't worry about me. Get your next round of funding / product ready for market. I'm doing a plastic casting / LED "Glowie" thing at "Nerdy New Year" here in Escondido. Teaching people to make silicone molds and then use Instamorph (low temp thermo-plastic) to safely cast objects... and then stick in LED and coin cell into them to light them up.
