Version two has now been made for the LAN! I filleted some of the edges and made some parts thicker. They also have a wider hole for the velcro straps.
First lasercut prototype

So the first prototype is made! I designed it in fusion 360 and lasercut it at my local makerspace Bitraf. It was a super quick and rough proof of concept but it was successful.

As seen in the picture the plate is mounted to the table using superclamps from Manfrotto. I simply love these superclamps for their versatility and their sturdiness.
