1Measurement and Inspiration
Take measure of the drawer or cabinet you're fixing so the final handle will fit.
-
2Design
Sketch out or otherwise pre-plan your design. This gives time for iteration and changes before a lengthy 3D modelling process!
-
3Build
Put together your 3D file. Make sure to use the measurements you've taken as a reference when working, rather than at the end.
-
4Add Your Flare
Decorate the functional piece as you choose! It's going to be visible, so make it as extreme (or minimal) as you want! (So long as it's still functional).
-
5Review
Ensure your 3D model is watertight, and closed. The model won't print properly if there are open edges, non manifold edges or naked edges and open faces. Now is the time to be ensuring the model is print ready.
-
6Print
Print out your model.
-
7Fix
You can now attach your own handle!
-
8ORRRRRRR
You can download the handle files from this page to print out or edit for your own project!
