do I even bother soldering Gen 1?
08/10/2015 at 12:14 • 5 commentsso the boards of the first version are in and I'm thinking to just not solder them. The second generation is more sophisticated and the first board might not be worth the attiny45 on it. But since they are already here and I have to return to Marrakesh soon, it might be worth it.

USB-A male to USB-A male
07/21/2015 at 20:29 • 0 commentsI'm probably able to use different connectors anyway, but I now went for the cable type I most probably want to check - A male to A male. I had to switch the battery holder and noticed that I could also check for mirrored/crossed wirings by adding some more resistors and LEDs.

boards are ordered
07/21/2015 at 16:34 • 0 commentsLet's see what the prototype will be like - it's a battery powered attiny, that will be awakened when you hit the reset button and goes through it's routine. Once it's done, it will go to sleep again.
I could add an XOR chip as well and feed the output back to the arduino.
