Step 1

Micro hot plate assembly
Remove protective film and glue the heating foil centered on the bottom of the laser cut stainless steel disc:

Step 2

Solder 22 AWG flexible stranded core wires (20 cm long) onto leads of DS18B20. Use heat-shrink tubing to insulate connections:

Step 3

Solder a 3-pin female pin header (2.54 mm spacing) onto the other ends of the wires. Use heat-shrink tubing to insulate connections. Move heat-shrink tubing onto wires, before you solder!

Step 4

Use 2-component epoxy resin adhesive to glue the DS18B20 onto the center of the heating foil. Use a piece of adhesive tape to hold sensor in place. Make sure surface is dry and free of dust and grease. Let it recommended time set until maximal strength is achieved:
