Motor layout for Y6
01/05/2016 at 16:53 • 0 commentsAll motors are spinning clockwise, but 2, 4, and 6 are mounted upside down. When viewed from above they are rotating counterclockwise. This means all ESCs should be wired the same way.
All propellers should be installed text facing up and match the rotation of the motors when viewed from above.

- KK flight controller (pulled from previous build)
- 6x 30A speed controller (pulled from previous build)
- 6x 2212 1000KV motor (pulled from previous build)
- 6x 10x4.5 props (pulled from previous build)
- X8R receiver (pulled from previous build)
- 4400mAh 3S battery (pulled from previous build)
I'm not sure about this motor/prop and battery combination but I'll give it a try. Might need to drop KV and possibly move everything to 4S.
Gimbal gamble- 2-axis gimbal frame (new!)
- 2x 2208 gimbal motor (new!)
- Martinez gimbal controller (new! with power from battery)
Gimbal tilt will be wired up on a Taranis channel.
GoPro or go home- GoPro (new! with power from internal battery)
- GoPro video out connector (new!)
- 600mw 5.8GHz Transmitter (new! with power from main battery)
- 5.8GHz Receiver (new! with power from 1100mAh 3S battery)
- 5.8GHz cloverleaf antennas (new!)
GoPro video out looks like a mess but I should be able to get something working.
