This project creates dynamic relationships between structure, environment and man, by adopting new technologies and smart materials in our design. Our goal is to find an equilibrium where digital concepts intertwine with physical structures.
The structure is a proof of concept of bricks working in pure compression and was developed to take advantage of the thermal inertia of the brick as much as possible.
TerraPerforma focuses on large scale 3D printing, the influence of additive manufacturing on building with a traditional material – unfired clay – and climatic performative design.
