Hi, you built a very nice clock, metal case looks great. Also thanks for liking my clock as well. By the way my clock shows time only for 7 seconds after pressing a button on top of the clock. In theory with such solution nixie tubes can last for much longer time
Thank you. In my case, I wanted to use it to glance at the clock from a distance, so I decided to keep the nixie tube on continuously. Since the power supply is constantly energized, it into a metal case for safety in case of circuit burnout happen.

Thank you for liking my #Nixie Clock by TTL/CMOS! This Nixie tube clock was made in 2017 and has been in use for 7 years. The nixie tubes deteriorated 50,000 hours last year and were replaced.
