For Halloween 2013 I built a Boba Fett helmet from scratch including, machining a template out of foam (using the CNC router), creating a glove mold, roto-casting, and painting.
Built the CNC Router Parts RP2448 kit using NEMA 23 electronics. It's a well designed, sturdy and easy to build. Mostly cut foam and wood with it, but have done a few metal pieces.
After our house was flooded during Hurricane Ike, we knew we needed to elevate, but using a contractor would have been too expensive. So with 75 jacks and lots of friends and cinder blocks we lifted the frame off the slab 4 1/2 feet.
