had to rebuilt the 3D files
06/01/2014 at 18:38 • 0 commentsturned out that my files could not be exported or reopened and I had to rebuilt everything. I'm gonna send the files to my boss and he will hopefully print them and send it to me by the end of the week.

a different, different approach
05/22/2014 at 12:55 • 0 commentsSo watching the video from the last log, I noticed one mechanism, which seems perfect for my needs. The velocity is almost constant and so I took the time, made some screenshots and started inkscape. Since today is almost friday, 123d design wasn't able to function the way it supposed and i had to export the imported svg file offline to .stl and get it online again and well.... I got to get back to the files soon. The teeth of my gear aren't right, but I'm going to 3D print it and tweak it anyways. I guess no timing is need but I will probably make a locomotive thingy, too. Hopefully I can print the parts during the next week and come up with a frame until then.

Timings
05/20/2014 at 12:13 • 0 commentsSo in order to achieve a synced and not distorted picture, the timing for one 3D frame has to be like the following table, instead of a factor of 0.125.
I probably end up measuring the time of 2 frames, when it retracts to the electronics side, so I have to keep that in mind.
And wow... I had to make a screenshot of the table because it looked really bad here on projects..
