Another smartwatch project inspired by many other DIY watch projects and market trends.
Main goal:
Make open hardware smartwatch platform. Case for building by your 3D printer or CNC router. PCB which you can etch at home by various methods. Programming in Arduino IDE or your favorite IDE with C/C++. All from programming to case construction, designed for easiest way to build it. This will give opportunities for creating your own watch with your set of sensors, functions.

I was very busy on my main job for a last few weeks, but project still alive and going on!
In race for smaller size, lower power consumption and what I found at local market, I failed in my idea with easy replicable design, because accelerometer manufactured in LGA16 package, that a little tricky for soldering.
This were very busy weekend, but I worked hard, and now we have repository on Github with 3D files and Manifest file, which explain why I do this project.
Today after few hours of brainstorm, I have a vision of the watch case. First 3D models you can see at the pictures. Now I thinking about rectangular forms with rounded edges. Early I planned to make watches round, but all displays what was found on the market have big frames around active area. In this reason, round case must be a bigger and small active area looks a little "clumsy".
Anything goes, work in progress. I design a case and pcb in same time. This is a bit tricky, but not less interesting. At the start of the project I planned to use TFT display, but few days ago my decision is changed. Better to use uOLED display, because it help to reduce power consumption in monochrome mode.
You can make a bracelet and manage smart home devices
