Description

Mugys is a Raspberry Pi and Arduino controlled coffee making robot. He is able to control water temp, bloom time, grind size and all of the things that make a great cup of coffee. He currently makes drip, pour overs and Americanos.
If you're hungover and want to stay in bed, no worries. You can tweet at Mugsy and he will have your coffee ready by the time you get to the kitchen.
He also has tons of easter eggs- incredible RGB lighting, built in speakers so you can blast Walking On Sunshine and a secret speak easy ready to drop a little whiskey into your coffee if you know the codeword.....

  • Part Substitutions

    Matt Argyle • 08/17/2016 at 16:36 • 0 comments

    A note on part substitutions:

The components list is the specific parts I'm using in my prototyping build. Lots of the parts can be swapped if that is your preference. As I write the build manual I'll try to note when a part or process can be handled differently.

Mugsy can run headless so a screen is not necessary. It defintely makes it cooler though....
