Yes! our hacking session was successful!

Hacking a 5V power supply to give us 3.3v! to give food to our esp8266 :)
We were a bit ran out of time but now we are active designing and developing our prototype!
So, we are developing and testing our sketch into our esp8266-01, testing with leds, and it's working!
In a few days we will working on turning on / off real devices!

Why you only can controle four devices?
Do you use the ESP-NOW mode?
I have been interested in how to make a smart switch myself. Looks like a great project! I wasn't sure what the best method of converting AC to DC in a compact space might be. I had found these converters (http://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/c/cui/encapsulated-ac-dc?&WT.srch=1&gclid=CKWSkvSM1c4CFQupaQodgmgM-g), but wasn't sure if this was the best way to go - not to mention these can be pricey.

But I'm also thinking that they are a little expensive.
