OMNI4FIN.IMDDISK IMAGE Use Dave Dunfield's imd117. Notes about special settings are at the top of this file (viewable via 'edit'). E.G. R/W gap=20, Format Gap=23. Some drives and/or PC FDC chips may not be able to handle these tight constraints they used to fit an extra sector on each track.Aside: The OMNI4's floppy drives CAN be replaced with 1.44MB 3.5inch drives(!). Block the 1.44MB hole on the disks with tape. And don't forget to change Drive-Select jumpers. 3.5in disks will only use half the available tracks (first 40 of 80, 400KB of 800KB (unformatted)) but do NOT choose DoubleStep! imd - 353.86 kB - 01/09/2026 at 03:50 |

There's another in these files as well [TODO compare] Thankya @Dr. Cockroach, who also notes: "I see that 2X is double-density and double sided 390K and will also read/write Osbourne disks....if that means anything helpful :-)" Adobe Portable Document Format - 4.30 MB - 01/25/2020 at 00:42 |

TEAC-FD235HF-A291--booleans.pdfFloppy drive manual... this drive is *not* from the Omni4, but this manual has extensive data regarding the boolean-logic implemented in drives' circuitry regarding I/O. photos2 0_TheseArePriorToWhitePowder_MaybeChipMarkingsReadableHereEh_TODO.zipOld photos of the Logic Analyzer PCB prior to the "white-powder" incident, which destroyed readability of many chips. It's plausible some of the now unreadable chip-markings may be readable in some of these images (plausibly with some image-processing: contrast-adjustment, etc.).Zip Archive - 32.04 MB - 10/08/2017 at 05:07 |

others 0.zipsome other files from the logic-analyzer disk that may be part of the LA program, including la.la0 (?), la1.lah and la2.lah (which appear to be help files), z80.z80 (which appears to be an example for disassembling with the logic analyzer), pg.com (pattern-generator), prog.com (PROM programmer). These files were not verified with the originals and transferred at 300BPS, so I don't plan to verify them any time soon.IMPORTANT NOTE!!! These files were serially-transferred via PIP.COM, which appears to have converted "Tab" to spaces, regardless of whether the files were transferred as binaries. These are PROBABLY WRONG. Instead, try using cpmtools with the 'kpiv' format (despite its being a KayPro 2x, not an IV/4) on the raw binary disk-image. Zip Archive - 72.71 kB - 09/17/2017 at 23:51 |

la.com.6.bs=1la.com, copied from the original floppy via serial port at a whopping 300BPS.Several other files exist which may be necessary for running this program (e.g. la1.lah)... These are large and not (yet?) downloaded. IMPORTANT NOTE!!! These files were serially-transferred via PIP.COM, which appears to have converted "Tab" to spaces, regardless of whether the files were transferred as binaries. These are PROBABLY WRONG. This appears to be the boot-ROM/BIOS, and contains messages specific to the OMNI4. 2764 epromThis was read by physically removing the EPROM and plugging it into a chip-programmer.
