2D sheets for printed instructions and stuff.
03/15/2026 at 05:08 • 0 commentsJust added a power point/google slides style 2D sheets editor that lets you insert PMI views and put other information on to a page. It supports a bunch of different sheet sizes and outputs PDF documents.
Fun fact. When you save a model a PDF gets generated and stuffed in to the 3MF file. 3MF files are basically a zip file so extra stuff can go in there like your build instructions or inspection documents.

Face, Edge and Solid color assignment

In order to do that I needed to add face color functionality to get the right effect. Behold the face color functionality is now working.

Added ability to interrogate individual triangles and relationships with neibors
12/23/2025 at 04:13 • 0 commentsWhen building a new BREP kernel some times things get sticky and you need to do in depth interrogation of the triangulated result. I have come to the conclusion that it is not just about being able to write good software. You need to make it so that you can inspect and interrogate things to figure out the bugs and problems and not just at a surface level but all the nitty gritty details.
The triangle inspector lets me interrogate individual triangles and the topology around them.![]()

Improved holes and hole callouts
