My project is to build an handled PC based on AMD Ryzen 7 7840 Framework 13 laptop motherboard.
I planed to use the eDP port on the motherboard to connect a display, no usb to hdmi adapter.
I would like to have modular controllers, especially using a mini trackball.
In the future, I also would like to use the other internal motherboard connectors to add a mini keyboard, camera and mic.

After discovering the motherboard of the AMD Ryzen 7 7840 series from Framework, I said to myself that it was, for me, the ideal platform to make a handled version.
I was able to see various interesting projects, but all of them used USB C ports as an interface for the display.
I said to myself that will be smart to use the motherboard's eDP ports for this type of project, since Framework provides all the information necessary for its use.

So I started researching how to use this eDP port. I noticed that there were not many different screen models and came across the screen models intended in particular for the ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go.... which are either 7" 1920x1080@120hz. TL070FVXS01-02, ZS070FHT-L41 or 8" 1920x1200@120hz NS080WUM-LX1
I had to look for the documentation for these screens to get the pinout, I only found it for the TL070FVXS01-02.
I also started drawing mechanical elements to print in 3D.

My project is also to have modular controllers, i would like to integrate a mini trackball, like

I would like to use internal mother board connectors to let USB C accessible to external stuffs'.

I have printed mechanicals parts to build a first prototype.

I have just received a display panel (TL070FVXS02)

I'm  working on creation a eDP cable between  motherboard and display panel

    Display Interface Motherboard side

IPEX 20879-040E connector used to interface to an eDP display.  Note that there are signals
defined for both USB 2.0 and I2C touchscreens.  There is a PWM interface to control backlight
brightness, but the display currently used on the Framework Laptop converts that to a DC LED
control.  Note that pin 1 is on the left when looking at the receptacle on the Mainboard.
