The blue is still a bit too strong, even with a 1k resistor.. meh. (edit: progger runs on 5v, not the tested 3V3 :D )
checking resistor values. Yellow gets 100 ohms, blue 1k ohms.
As soon as I've had send the board, I just knew that new ideas would flood in. Here's a list of improvements for the board.
I've added a size mockup with some 10mm LEDs I still have from other projects. The ones I've bought for this project look more like this:

Hey :) it's tougher to know which side is up with 16 leds though... where do you get the 2mm from? I'm confused :D I'll never need to show stuff like 88:88 with that clock.
Also tried the scrolling on a cell phone, probably not the same effect ;)
Well, it's a binary clock with 10mm LEDs which in decimal reads 2mm, after all this clock is meant to half of those 10 kind of people who can read binary :)
Is this a general comment regarding delivery time of dirtypcbs.com or do you mean fast enough so the boards will be ready for makerFaire? MakerFaire would be cool, since it's huge and blinking ;)
I believe the term you're looking for is BCD (binary coded decimal).

Just add three more LEDs and do a Binary Coded Decimal 10mm Decimal Time Clock. Or do I get all wrong and the LEDs are indeed two millimetres?, LOL!!!
PS: You get an interesting effect by scrolling up and down the screen while showing the third picture with the top silkscreen mask
