Hi Nigel, Thanks for liking the Interak Z80 system, I sometimes think about using an Arduino to help, in-fact we did use a PIC to convert a PS/2 keyboard to 8 bit parallel, some used an Arduino NANO to do the same. Do you have memory mapped VDU or just serial terminal?

Hi Mel.  As soon as I saw the email I had to look at your project.  It looks like we're of a similar age so we will both remember what is probably the real golden age of computing - the late 70s and early 80s.  I built and used Transam Tritons, Altairs with teletypes, etc.  Your project fits in well with those.  I've got another Z80 project on the go.  Connection is via a serial port but I intend to use a Propellor for a VGA display, Micro SD card interface, etc.  I've already used this successfully for the original Z80 system and a 6502 system (that runs the original BBC Micro BASIC ROM).  Regards.  Nigel
