Who I Am

I've been building electronics for most of my life... Vacuum tube amps (guitar & hi-fi), vintage gear restorations, audio stuff, test gear, automation, fun projects etc. both for myself and for an occassional customer. I own and run Keritech Electronics - my little lab in the center of Gdańsk, Poland, where I live and work. I'm also a mechanic who knows a thing or two on operating and maintaining Monotype typecasting machines. Open to collaborations.

Why I'm on Hackaday.io

For getting out of my tiny lab to the broader world! Your regular mad scientist's plot to conquer the world.

Recent acquisitions in the lab: vacuum tube catalogs by Piotr Mikołajczyk, in addition to the two I already had by Leon Niemcewicz, with vast amounts of vacuum tube data. I love vintage printed catalogs, can't get enough. Enjoy!

Thank you for liking and following my #Homebrew Digital Sampler in 1979! I remember myself back then, seeing the light dots on the analog oscilloscope screen dancing for the first time in over 40 years.

That's a lovely project - especially for 1979! That was pretty advanced back then. I'm impressed, and I admire your build quality. Spare no expense!

Thank you for liking and following my #PERSEUS-9 2023 Update! I was able to find and fix bugs in my own floating-point interpreter by running a somewhat complicated calculation program such as astronomical calculations.

Thank you for liking and following my #Homemade Floating Point Interpreter for 6502! I recently uploaded a YouTube video of me updating the PROMs of this interpreter with my own PROM programmer. And I added a link to this video to the project.

Thank you for liking my #Prehistory of my homemade PERSEUS computers ! It was more than 40 years ago, but I have the feeling that I was quite formed in the way I am today.

I love your Perseus computer project, and what comes with it! Beautifully made - and much appreciated.

Thank you for liking my several projects ! I make sure that my own creations have a solid housing and design to keep them in practical operation for even 10 years or more.

That's a sign of good engineering! I'm inspired by the Cold War era electronic design, try to re-create some of that in the devices I build, using vintage components.

This one wasn't that old - 1960s or so, but the type dates back to pre-WWII times.
