Solar powered WiFi weather station
05/14/2015 at 03:21 • 0 commentsFound a great spot for Solar powered WiFi weather station:
My deck, it will block the rain, block the sun, and easy to mount solar panel
Pictures:
The battery with charging PCB is still naked, I am waiting for the PCB shipment so I can make the Battery Node. Stay tuned.
This is another one in front of my house, it is facing south, so lots of sun shine, 2 sensors will give me both the temperature under the sun or not.

WiFi weather station
05/10/2015 at 23:49 • 0 commentsSteps to make a WiFi weather station:
- soldering 90 degree 2.54mm headers onto NodeUSB
- Soldering si7021 module on 2.54mm header
- If you want to add barometer, Use quick connect wire to add bp180 module
- put into case closures
- put in USB power adapter

Universal PCB for modules. (Arduino, etc )
04/21/2015 at 01:15 • 0 commentsPCB have 8 headers (4 pins, 2.54mm). (With 6 different combinations )
So you connect different I2C modules (with different pin-outs) in just one Node. For example, you can use it to add both si7021 and bmp180 in your project. Sounds cool?
Also USB male and female pass-through, you can create Nodes Chain with several nodes!
