Howdy Vishnu, thanks for following me, and good luck with the Prize!
I'm planning to integrate a LoRa module into my EXPLOG. May be I could use your project information and test results for it.
Yeah, but costly. I'll need a more economic solution. But I'll adopt the design aspects from it.. Thanks :)
The Murata module is ~$10, if you buy a separate MCU + SX1276 you will pay about the same. At least with the Murata module you have the advantage of an exccvellent Arduino core.
OK. Will check them out. But "Ai-Thinker" produces some modules called RA-01 and RA-02 at about half the price. But I yet have to test them for their performance. I'll need to buy LoRa modules from many vendors and test them.
Thanks for following # Lets make OSHW more successful! . We are currently looking for new OSHW projects to collaborate with.
Thanks. How does the birthday alarm last for fifty years? Guess I need to read about it...
Hi Kris. 50 years is the calculated expected lifetime including the self discharge (which is about 600 nA) of the CR2450 (540 mAh) cell. The device consumes an average of around other 600 nA. So total nominal current consumption around 1.2 uA. You can see the summary of these calculations in the "Features" part of the description.
