Designer / engineer / maker / artist. Proud resident of Kyiv hackerspace. I support and promote maker culture in Ukraine.
This little project began from an odd soviet era device from a flea market. It became a perfect housing for a tiny synth - two oscillators, two filters, a bunch of dividers and with everything connectable through a patch bay.
A project for art exhibit. It consists of hundreds of NE555-based modules that light after some time of being exposed to light. When arranged on a wall the patterns resemble neuron firings.
Two MOTs powered spot welder for thin metal sheets. Welds up to 2+2mm metal and also batteries.
A prototype mini electric railcar to ride abandoned railroads of Western Ukraine. Fun to make and test.
My first serious attempt to work with high voltages. I used this prototype to increase adhesive properties of certain materials and learn a lot about physics of electricity.
I was part of the team to make an open-source oxygen concentrator in 2020. The project was a failure from the reliability point but still very interesting experience.
An analog seagull cry generator! One of a kind! Was super fun to make and test. Was done for a fellow artist exhibit.
Nothing quite special but was fun to learn how printers work. Still prints!
An Arduino project - an authentic Venetian carnival mask that reacts to light and/or to speech by pulsing colors.
Yet another arcade cabinet. Nothing special but still fun.
A prototype for studio lamp that leaves free space for hands and lights the worktable evenly without hurting my eyes.
Studies in light reflection and mirroring devices. Later used in art installation.
