Who I Am

Student of Miyamoto Musashi, Sun Tzu, Lisbeth salander, Buffy, Marcus Aurelius, King Leonidas, LeVar Burton, Theodore Kaczynski, Jesus Christ, and Beetlejuice. Survivor, Utilitarian, Luddite, Hunter gatherer, Amateur chemist, MacGyver engineer, Remote controller, Penatration tester, Lock pick, stoic, Donor, Dad, unknown ppm heavy metals, blood type B+.

Why I'm on Hackaday.io

I am building a hybrid Telerobotic/automation system for mass manufacture. Affordable to all, controlled with inexpensive virtual reality equipment. Once used on a large scale the motion control data will be used to train a neural network and accelerate the development of general artificial intelligence. This is a preservation of the individual's basic human right to provide for one's self and maintain existence. After that build a low earth orbit space factory and deep space mining operation.

Hoped to inspire change and alter the course of automation, robotics and artificial intelligence by suggesting workers wear motion capture sensors. They would have full ownership of the data it would be used to train a neural network and accelerate artificial general intelligence for physical labor shortages. Originally I had proposed using two robot arms and consumer grade virtual reality equipment as a way to provide a remote work option for essential workers to provide for themselves, their families and loved ones. Unfortunately no interest was taken I was laughed at and dismissed. Hopefully I can gain some support for this cause.

This is from 9 years ago. What kind of inexpensive motion capture set up could be used to record repetative arm movements equally capable of being performed by a standard collaborative robotic arm? For the intended purposes of training Artificial intelligence.

We have a large population of homeless people in Oregon  Many of them suffer from mental health and addiction. I know in corrections they have something like a ankle bracelet that detects drug use I think it's called SCRAM. This is something I believe should be available with help of a physician and mental health counseling and vocational assessment and rehabilitation. I'm concerned about the situation it's about to get worse once evictions begin. This should concern our political leaders. Portland looks like a tent city or refugee camp I'm sure it affects the price of real estate, tourism, and business. Soon if nothing is done the city will collapse no one wants that. So that's something that could help a fit bit but for addictions recovery and rehabilitation.

Update: I had some unusual activity in my life. I believe I got someone's attention. Trying to not become paranoid. For now the AGV project is on hold. I had some mental health issues ended up in the hospital. It's been slow but I have returned to work and am back to working my regular shift. I'm relaxing a bit and taking things slow trying to keep myself level and grounded and my goals realistic. I purchased a Ford transit connect van it could be used for transporting the automatic guided vehicle or as a remote operations center. Right now it's my back up option for adorable housing. We have a homelessness problem here in Oregon. Also I wasn't aware of this so much at the time, I put everything I had into this project to distract me from all the grief and loss change that has happened and as a way of gaining some control in the situation. I expected more interest but realized I didn't plan ever detail out leaving me unprepared and stuck. I was disappointed in the lack of interest but realistically this is work and asking for any ones help I assumed my coworkers had similar concerns of potential job loss to automation and would be excited to be involved but it kinda fell apart. I have no business training or experience so selling my idea was a challenge but the disappointment and feeling of defeat has slowed me recovering from this as well. Hopefully I find my direction and move ahead and make the most of what's left of these projects.

This was a thought be a excellent opportunity for ergonomics and accessibility in the workplace, also something the local first responders could use during crisis. We had some natural disasters recently in oregon

I used to work for a arborist the guy that checked out the batteries on my AGV once told me before drones were widely popular he was using RC helicopters to bid tree work check them out if in the area battery exchange in Oregon city Oregon highly recommended often times they don't even charge that's how cool they are Also Roots and Shoots extremely professional tree work++

I guess my business registration didn't completely go through... That's a good thing and a bad thing. I could use some direction or mentoring. Less concerned with profit and recognition. I simply want to help create something similar in cost, manufacturability, and usefulness as a pick up truck or tractor. I originally went with an assumed business name but now since the registration didn't go through I'm considering registering my company as a LLC or non-profit. Is anyone knowledgeable of the advantages disadvantages?
