To get constant moisture level, I've put together an USB powered whatstone bridge with uA-meter as display. Moisture is measured with two wires and an npn transistor. Other side of bridge is a trimpot for 0adj. 40uA makes my green lily happy.
same principle as "LED torchiere", but built low-cost with steel cable spanned across the room, crocodile clips, massive copper wire. Approx. 3 Watt per square meter for a daytime-like light impression plus super low electricity bill.
most of my electronics stuff happening here. power supplies, isolation transformer, signal generators, multimeters, scopes, microscope for smd work,... there is an additional storage room with shelves/boxes for projects and less used parts
poor litte air compressor fell off a forklift... new motor, belt and pulley, motor control (all smashed), oil exchange, built mechanical motor adapter, belt protection cage, sandblasting cabin...
never ending story ;) Lots of (sheet) metal work to be done, starter does not work yet...
