I2C Isolator, both sides use SIPSIK(tm) style connector, fully symmetrical, safe to reverse: GND - sig - VCC - sig - GND
UD = Universal Digital Card, SD or microSD form factor, but not bound to license agreement from SDA organization. On the foto AT45 footprint has been adapter to 25 style SPI flash.
USB UART Adapter that fits into Fiber optical SFP gage, no molded housing, all done with PCB technology alone. About 10 pieces made, some are still in use in FPGA board development process.
Based on Xilinx CPLD fits into regular game cartridge, single sided PCB, 2 Sipsik(tm) I/O Extension slots at front. CPLD reprogramming done from homebrew applications directly using SVF Player.
STAMP style board featuring Silicon Blue (now Lattice) ice65 FPGA, on the foto soldered to CRUVI(tm) base board

Thank you for following the https://hackaday.io/project/21193-aluminimum! Let me know if you like the historical part or want me to proceed further to the logical part!
Thankyou for following the #Hackaday Stats! Will try to keep everyone posted on the results. :D
Thanks for following my project my Spartan Mini project!
Thanks for following the Baby Baby. Hope you enjoyed it! Its meant to be fun!
Next time you visit Copenhagen, take some time to visit https://labitat.dk/ ! Open doors every tuesday evenings, you'll find other very cool people :-)
Antti, please, stop breaking the Internets :-P they can not support so much awesome :-D
Man, with all due respect, and I'm being completely sincere here, how you manage to pull off 5 or 6 projects constantly updated ?
My guess you have a lot of experience with FPGA + near ready or ready to use HW platforms.
Other option is you have aaaa lot of free time as student or very efficient freelance.
BOTH Options are cool, completely OK , etc. But I'm provooked to ask ;) And Kudos , especially for 2 of those FPGA projects, but I'll keep their names ... yet I gave them skulls, already :D
Keep the good spirit up and those progress running ! GL
I am doing it for life.
My wife thinks I lack multitasking completely - in the kitchen.
I used to be self-employed.
I used to have time.
Now its only experience and multitasking...
And JOY of doing? Who knows...
:-)
All of the above, what you are saying, makes sense to me and even can relay to part of it.
Yet not all of the above is known to me.
Still it sounds very much like ...
'How life of one individual, pursuing an engineering path ( career ), will become in time mature type of life'
About the multitasking and the kitchen thing. I'm obviously younger than you, but already have heard that expression too :D It's the female part of the world which can criticize us for our male poor performance on general life tasks. Yet they won't admit our amazing multitasking performance on our non-general interests, like Engineering for example :-)
It's all about choices and seeing your progress on those public/open project. I must note that it looks like you did the right ones. Even if you miss self-employment and the ... "time" you had. Still nothing is forever. So what do you know, maybe one day there will be again more "time" for all your most driven wishes :-)
Thanks for the reply and Good Luck ! I'll be following at least 2 of those project you have going on ;-)
PS: Don't give up yet on "time", cause time is going to be always your friend = )
Getting nostalgic: I was the first one to ever release a high level language compiler for AVR, it was released 30 days after first AT90S1200 was officially sold. The compiled is still in use.. but has not been in active development for a while..
Thanks for following the Toadstool. Would love any comments you may have
